Welcome to Abberton & District Cricket Club

Welcome to Abberton & District CC

Welcome to the website of Abberton & District Cricket Club, a small community club on the outskirts of Colchester, Essex.
The club hosts two senior sides both Saturday & Sunday featuring in two leagues. We also host a variety of mid-week evening cricket, featuring Mens, Ladies and Colts (Junior) Teams.
Like all clubs we are eager to sign new players so if anyone is interested in playing at any standard please do not hesitate to contact us, we are always eager to see new faces down at the clubhouse.
On a match day the bar is always open from 1pm ish, with the cheapest prices around why not come down and have a drink whilst supporting your local cricket club.
We all look forward to welcoming you to Abberton & District Cricket Club sometime during the season.

Individual Match Achievements 2017

Just a quick thankyou to everyone who registered in time for the start of the season. As a club the the transition from sportstaz to play-cricket was a smooth one.
If you are yet to register then please do so by visiting abberton.play-cricket.com and follow the process to sign up.

For anyone who wishes to use the scoring app for matches will need to log into abberton.play-cricket.com and click their name found at the top left, then click "site administration" and accept the terms and conditions before scoring a game.

As far as I'm aware there can only be one device scoring at any one time. If someone is scoring and you log in and try to view the scorecard then it will give a warning that someone else is scoring the game.

If there is anything else that you would like to know or would like me to find out please ask, I will have a look through the doc's and try to answer your questions.
